We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working team player to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. Schedule:

• Part-time position - 3 days a week

• PM Shift – Mid-day (2/3 PM) to close (approx. 10:30 PM)

• Weekend availability required

Qualifications:

• Restaurant prep, and dishwashing experience required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to jump into different roles as needed

Responsibilities:

• Collect used kitchenware from front of house and kitchen areas

• Load and unload dishwashing machines

• Wash specific items by hand (e.g., cutting boards, large pots, etc.)

• Store clean dishes and equipment appropriately.

• Clean equipment, floors, racks, etc.

• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents) and place orders when necessary.

• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.

• Remove garbage regularly

• Sweep kitchen and front of house as needed

• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

• Help put orders away - must be able to lift 50lbs.

• Open raw chicken and get ready for brining.

• Remove raw chicken from brine - prepare for fry station.

• Light prep and knife skills

• Assist fry station with "back-fry" as needed. Training will be provided.

Interview Process:

Our interview process works as follows: Step 1: A 20-minute in-person interview at the restaurant. Step 2: We will invite you to work a paid try-out shift based on the first interview results. Step 3: We invite you to join the team based on your try-out shift results.  With your consent, we may contact your previous employers for references.  Please note that we do not interview candidates that are late.
